Privacy Policy
Mainstay AV Co ("Mainstay AV," "we," "us") staffs audio-visual technicians for live events. This policy covers both the Mainstay AV website and the Mainstay AV Crew app, explains what information we collect, why, and what choices you have. We keep it short and plain.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit the "Request Crew" form (or email us), we collect what you provide: your name, company, email, phone number, event dates, location, and the roles you need. In the crew app, we collect the account details and job information needed to run staffing: name, email, phone, role, skills, availability, offer responses, schedule, check-in / check-out records, event messages, and any documents or media you upload for a job.
Information collected automatically
Our host (Cloudflare) records standard technical data needed to serve and secure the site — IP address, browser type, and request logs. We use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Optional permissions in the crew app
The crew app may request: precise location when you choose to check in or check out on site, and photo library access when staff attach event media from the device. These are used for app functionality, not advertising.
2. How we use it
- To respond to your crew request and provide staffing services.
- To communicate with you about an event, quote, or booking.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website and crew app.
- To meet legal, tax, and contractual obligations.
We do not sell your information, and we don't use it for third-party advertising.
3. Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, under confidentiality obligations — for example our website host/CDN (Cloudflare), database/auth provider (Supabase), email provider, SMS provider, payment processor (Stripe), and app-build infrastructure (Expo/EAS) as needed to operate the service. We may also disclose information if required by law.
4. How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and client information for as long as needed to respond, provide services, and meet legal/tax requirements, then delete or anonymize it. You can ask us to delete it sooner — see our Data Management page.
5. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA or GDPR. We honor these requests regardless of location. 6. Security
We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect it and to respond promptly if an issue arises.
7. Children
This site is for business use and is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
8. Changes
We'll update this policy as the business grows (for example when we add online booking or payments) and will revise the effective date above.
